Mortons Neuroma

Morton’s neuroma is specific foot pain between the third and fourth metatarsal heads. The metatarsal heads are just below the base of your toes. At Harbour clinic our physical therapists have unique equipment to help diagnose and resolve this problem. Included in your assessment will be scans of your feet to help us outline a treatment plan and further recommendations to resolve your pain and discomfort.

Included in your physical therapy treatment will be a blend of hands-on soft tissue techniques to help manipulate the bones and soft tissue structures in your foot and help relieve the pressure on the nerves that cause the foot pain when walking, running or even standing. Other parts of the body might be treated to assist proper biomechanics of the foot and ankle.

Symptoms can also include burning, numbness and tingling between two of the toes of the foot. Surgery and medications should be a last resort and often a few treatments of physical therapy can help resolve the issue.
